Do you own a flat in Madrid?
We manage it end to end, or we rent it from you and pay you a fixed amount every month whether it is occupied or not. Find out in two minutes what yours would earn.
Questions people actually ask
What is included in the price?
Rent, electricity, water, gas, heating and fibre wifi. Nothing is charged on top at the end of the month. Some flats also include weekly cleaning of the shared areas, and those that do say so on their own page: it is not the same in all of them.
What do I pay to book, and when?
Three payments. One month as a deposit, which holds the room. Then, before you collect the keys, the agency fee and your first month by bank transfer. The deposit comes back when you leave.
Can I register at the address (empadronamiento)?
Yes. We give you the paperwork you need to register at the town hall. Registering is your right as a resident and it is what lets you get a health card, a NIE appointment or a driving licence.
Do I need a Spanish guarantor or payslip?
No. ID or passport plus proof of income, a study grant or university enrolment is enough. We rent to international students and professionals every month, and most of them have no Spanish payroll.
How long do I have to stay?
It depends on the flat. Most take stays from three months, some from six, and a few are long-term contracts with a one-year minimum. The filter only shows you the ones that genuinely accept the length you need.
Can I see the room before booking?
Yes. A video call with someone from the team, whenever suits you and wherever you are, or an in-person visit if you are already in the city.
When do I get the deposit back?
Within 30 days of leaving, by bank transfer. If anything is withheld you get a written breakdown of what and why, with photos. Normal wear and tear is never charged.
What if I need to leave before the contract ends?
Tell us as soon as you know. We look for someone to take your room, and if we find one you leave without penalty. If we do not, the contract terms apply.
Who fixes things when they break?
We do. You report it from your phone, we send a tradesperson and we keep you posted. Repairs are included; you only pay if the damage was caused by you.
Who will I be sharing with?
Other people who came to Madrid to study or to work, most of them international. Every tenant is checked before they move in. On each flat page you can see how many people already live there.
Is bedding and towels provided?
No. The room comes with a bed, a mattress and a mattress protector, but sheets, duvet and towels are yours to bring. Anything you see dressing the bed in the photos is styling for the shoot and is not included.
Where and when do I pick up the keys?
At our offices, Monday to Friday from 9.30 to 14.30. We agree the day with you in advance and hand over the keys in person, along with the inventory and everything you need to know about the flat.
